Memorials
Cash donations made in memory of a loved one may be made to the Boys & Girls Club in any amount. Unless otherwise stipulated, the money will be deposited in our general fund and used for day-to-day operations. Donations may also be designated to a special account to help us buy a needed item such as sports uniforms, computers, equipment, etc.

Albany Boys & Girls Club Foundation
The Albany Boys & Girls Club Foundation's sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to the Boys & Girls Club using only interest generated from investments. Those who have donated $1,000 or more to the Foundation become members of the “Legacy Club”. A plaque with the donor name or memorial becomes a permanent part of the large oak Legacy Club board on the wall in the main lobby.

Program Expansions/Capital Improvements
Donations to current projects including the completion of the baseball complex on Oak Street are gratefully accepted.

Athletic Team Sponsors
The Boys & Girls Club has a very large athletic program, primarily for grades 1 to 8, with leagues organized for soccer, touch & tackle football, volleyball, basketball, indoor soccer, track, baseball, softball, cheerleading, and dance. There were 3,569 participants playing on 307 teams throughout 2006. Team sponsorships vary from $195 to $2,500, depending on the sport, level, and size of the program or league.

In all cases, receipts and acknowledgements are generated to thank the donor. A list of donors and memorials is published in our Annual Report.
